Jeff’s wisdom and experience in Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Leadership and Talent Management has been built over 35 years working in Singaporean and other Asia-Pacific contexts.

 

He loves to work with teams on achieving clarity of purpose, relational processes and executing on their goals. Through coaching he also helps individuals through career transitions, performance improvement, personal, managerial, leadership and organisational development.

One the strengths of Jeff's style is his intense curiosity. With incisive questioning, he delves below the surface to help his clients explore what is really going on and to remove the obstacles to delivering his clients’ desired results.

Background

Jeff’s career has spanned roles in a broad range of major private and public sector clients, beginning with the Republic of Singapore Airforce (RSAF) and subsequently led the HRD function in public and private organisations such as Motorola, Nokia, British Telecom, RGMI and was Division Director & QSM at the Singapore Tourism Board. He has also held leadership roles in UOB and Raja Garuda Mas (RGM) International. Other roles have included Head of Organisational Capability APAC, Director Service Quality Division and First Vice President Talent & OD. Earlier in his career, Jeff was responsible for business development and managing sales in South-East Asia for Gibson's Chemicals.

 

Experience and Expertise

As a Specialist Adult Educator (IAL), Jeff works with organisations, groups and individuals to accelerate change and organisational learning while aligning to their strategic intent. Interventions that Jeff effect are grounded on Performance

Improvement, Strategic HR, Learning, Organisational Development, Talent Development and Coaching.

 

In 2016, Jeff designed and facilitated the engagement sessions for the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore, prior to public release of the HR Strategic Manpower Plan. In 2017 & 2019, Jeff was invited by the Royal Institute of Governance & Strategic Studies, Bhutan to support one of their change programmes and in 2018, Jeff designed and facilitated the co-creation sessions for Singapore’s Public Service Division’s Whole of Government project on Service. In 2019, Jeff worked with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) to create a coaching culture in support of their vision to create a City of Good. Jeff also delivered the keynote: “Multipliers, Five Leadership Disciplines that Engender Organisational Agility at the 13th HR Expo in Jakarta. From 2013 to 2019, Jeff worked with a regional bank to create a new leadership competency model, including the design and delivery of a leadership programme based on this model.

Jeff was also involved in a business transformation programme for business turnaround in Asia. He helped the Chair roll out cultural pillars throughout the corporation to enable her to build the requisite people capabilities. He also developed and executed a values alignment intervention in Asia that was subsequently adapted by Europe and the US, as well as designing and developing a leadership competency model to help drive the organisation’s ambitions. He is also an associate of Roffey Park Institute, Singapore, a coach for the Civil Service and facilitates a leading airport group’s Leadership Milestone Programme.

A bit more about Jeff…

A recent trip to Bhutan enabled Jeff to combine three things he enjoys: photography, kayaking and being with people on their journey to be their better selves.
